This past Saturday I went for a walk with 9,000 people.

We were doing the Heart Run & Walk in Utica, NY. Since I collected $63 in pledges I was going to walk at least three miles.

The weather forecast was "Winter Storm Warning." This ended up being pouring rain and blowing wind at 34 degrees. It was dismal. We were soaked and frozen. But we made it.

My college, MVCC, fielded a team of 100+ people. I was proud to part of it. I think I was the oldest one there, and maybe the last to finish, but I got there.
